Ok my hubby said then it's libel. Deformation of character? I am surprised he said anything cuz he wanted me to drop it. So in regards XXXXX XXXXX doctor calling nursing homes and making them say I was not allowed and everything he screamed in front of a group of peers, is it libel/deformations anything that I have a possible court case of?This needs to go to Ms. Umphrey if possible but I guess anybody there could read the past info I gave. Thank you!Kris

Thanks for your question and good afternoon.I see that you have been waiting for awhile so I thought I would try and help you.I read your prior question and I have to agree overall with the other expert even with your additional information. Here the doctor's conduct was not slander or defamation for him to state that he got you fired. It is totally unprofessional of him to do so as a medical professional.. It's not illegal slander. It's also not slanderous for him to share his opinions to others even if it's negative of another person. It would cross the line if he accuses you of committing some kind of crime say that you took illegal drugs or a similar allegation.I think you may just have to let this go here as the prior expert indicated. While it shows him as being very unprofessional here if he is screaming, etc it does not appear to rise to the level of libel or defamation.I am so sorry that you had to go through all of this. And thanks for allowing me to give you a second opinion on all of this.
