Hello and thank you for the question. I am sorry to read of this dilemma. What outcome are you seeking?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

working at a local grocery store, we have new management, employees were notified if we ate ate or even drank water on the front end, that we would get written up, possilby terminated. i feel that this unfair, with the summer coming, temteratures arising, we should be able 2 have a bottle of water

Employer may expose employees to unsafe working conditions or deny them the right to have water. Such treatment may be reported to the state labor board for review and investigation. A lawyer may also practically contact the manager and warn him to cease and desist or risk lawsuit and agency review.

so, its still possible that i could get fired for drinking water on the job? they let us walk outside if we need a drink of water, but i still its unfair that we can't have a bottle of water on self at all times

Termination would be unwise as it would give you yet another claim to pursue through the labor board and civil court action for wrongful termination and retaliation.
