Can you please clarify what you mean by bait and switch on ATM users? What's happening?
This is the thrid time I have made a reservation through hotwire for a car rental with Thrifty LAX. for my brother. Each time when he arrives to pick up the mid-size car he is told they no longer have mid-size cars and each time he is offered a upgrade which he is charged for. They NEVER tell him that their policy is to offer an upgrade at no additional cost. I emailed my complaint and was advised to have him talk to the manager at that location when he take the car back. I tried to call the manager, was placed on the telephon hold for 45 minutes 2x never talked to any manager.
The car was priced at 17.00 per day - ended up paying 23.00 per day
You can file a consumer complaint with the California Attorney General's Office. They have an online complaint form which you can complete and submit at: http://ag.ca.gov/contact/complaint_form.php?cmplt=CL
Is there anything else that I can assist with?
