secuI am having a short sale soon. The buyer has agreed to rent to me. The bank is giving me $3000 to relocate. In order to pay security etc I need the $3000. Am I entitled to it?

Whether you would be entitled to the relocation money depends on the terms of the agreement with the bank. You would have to look to the written agreement, if there is one, or ask the bank. The term relocation generally denotes a move to a different place, however, the bank may allow it.
