TRUCK-------EQUIPMENT

KANSAS

UCC FILINGS WERE MADE

Expert:  Steinlaw replied 6 years ago.
I am sorry you are going through this.

Yes, they can come repo your truck after 5 months. You should call them and see if you can work out a payment plan to get caught up.

Good luck.

WHAT ABOUT EQUIPMENT

ARE YOU TELLING ME THEY DONT HAVE TO GIVE ANY WRITTEN NOTICE

Expert:  Steinlaw replied 6 years ago.
They need to complete an application for title in the County where you live. Then they need to send you a copy of that.

As for the equipment, they need to give you notice and then they can repossess that as well.
Customer: replied 6 years ago.

WHEN YOU SAY NOTICE,HOW LONG BEFORE REPO

EXAMPLE------- GET NOTICE ONE DAY AND THEY REPO NEXT DAY

IS THIS TRUE FOR BOTH TRUCK AND EQUIPMENT

Expert:  Steinlaw replied 6 years ago.
There is no minimum notice required for the truck. But it will probably be a few days.

For the equipment, they have to give you 30 days notice.
