You need to first make a written demand for the discovery and give them a deadline. Here you could give them notice tomorrow and give them to next Friday. Then if they do not answer you can file your Motion to Compel. There is no real time limit.

Why is there a 30 day to respond in the Civil Practice if there is no deadline?
Expert:  lwpat replied 6 years ago.
That is the deadline. If they do not provide the discovery then you file the motion to compel.
