I owe $400.00 on a car I bought in 2000. When I found work I tried to pay the bill, I was told the intres has brought to $4,000.00. Is there a statue of limitations. on something like that?
When did you last make a payment or incur a charge?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
I bought the car in arizona. the last payment I made was in 2001. This moring a person called me and said I owe $4,000.00 because they bouht the bill from the dealer. I told them I was not going to pay for a car that cost $4,000.00 when I bought it. The car is a 1994 oldsmobile. I told them they can have the car back.
The claim would be barred by the statute of limitations whether pursued n arizona or california.
