I had a hunting incident where the game warden cited me a ticket

Customer Question

I had a hunting incident where the game warden cited me a ticket for illegally shooting a firearm within 500 feet of a state road. Im scheduled to fly to canada before the court date and i retained a lawyer to stand in my absence. Will i still be able to continue onto canada?

If you are not under a bond or restriction to travel, it should be no trouble. Nothing should show up on your background only if you have been cited - not convicted.

You should confirm with your attorney that there is no restriction on your travel.
