Yes, a parent can leave a child out of their Will without any mention of the child. A parent is within full legal rights to disinherit an adult child. Nor is there a requirement that the parent mention the child at all in the Will.
Many times when a Will is drafted an attorney will mention the adult child to make it clear that the parent did not just "forget" the child. This is not a legal requirement.
