State/Country relating to Question: California Already Tried: Nothing
Who is going to be writing up the contract? You or the owner in Florida?
the commercial sales licensed real estate broker
But in what state--Florida or California?
sorry, fl
Thank you very much, I just wanted to make sure I knew which state attorney should review your documents. If you do not know of any attorneys in the area, consider contacting the Florida State Bar Association, but more locally, the local county bar association. These associations provide a referral list of competent attorneys in the area. What you are looking for is a basic business/contracts transactional attorney to do a basic contracts review. Depending on who you use, it may costs you anywhere from $500-$1,200, depending on complexity. If unsure, you can also go to www.avvo.com It is a brand new site where you can search by location, specialization, expertise, fees, and you can also review what their clients have posted as their feedback about their services.I hope that helps.Sincerely,Dimitry Alexander Kaplun, Esq.
for this type of sale do i need a lawyer
That is a tough question. I would recommend one, simply because you are a long-distance buyer, and you would want any clauses, options, or tricks to be exposed to you before you sign (as you are not the creator of the contract but merely the one who has to sign it). An attorney in this case would try to help you avoid any missteps, and try to help you rewrite any portions of the contract deemed unfair or one-sided.Sincerely,Dimitry Alexander Kaplun, Esq.
would'nt the broker do this also
Sure he would, be he would not be liable to you if he makes a mistake or fails to disclose something that may end up costing you in the long run.Sincerely,Dimitry Alexander Kaplun, Esq._______________________________________________________________________Please click "accept" so I can be compensated for my assistance.
