Hi, I am seeking advice because I am behind on my car payments about 4 months, I had to change jobs and care for my daughters. I have had my car hidden for about 2 months and have been avoiding the repo man who has been to all previous addresses and my job. I received a letter from an attorney who states they want to "replevy" the vehicle. My question is, can I get into legal trouble if I do not return the vehicle?

You won't get into trouble, but you don't need to give it back until they take it. They can either come and physically take it or they can do a writ of replevin, where a court can order you to turn it back over.
