I have a debt settlement company and I am unclear as to the remedy available to Florida Credit Card creditors regarding seizing personal property after getting a judgment. Can a sheriff with a judgement come in and just seize any property inside the home regardless if it related to the debt purchase or not? If not, what items would be exempt?

1. Yes, the Sheriff can seize items that do not relate to the debt purchase.

2. The real estate which the debtor uses as his residence and up to $1000 worth of personal property would be exempt.
