if a dad in the military files for divorce and the mom has no job will he be awarded custody even if the kids have been in the mothers care for over a yr without help from the dad except financially? and if the husband has debt who gets the car?

Thanks for your question.The court decides here.If dad has a lawyer and mom does not then dad may well prevail here. The court will have to find way to resolve the debt and the car in this situation. If the parties can't agree the court will divide.
