My children and I are victims of Domestic Violence and Abuse. There was no expert witness for my husband and the Judge gave my husband the sole custody of the minors. There is medical neglect, my one son walked on a broken foot for two years. The children have not been to a dentist in three years. I have to send child support monthly and he is employed by the FAA so it is not a money issue. Both have threatened to commit suicide to get away from him. They are 1,000 miles from me. All my contact was cut with no explanation. I saw his attorney writing Orders with wording that the Judge never said. I have been a stay at home mother for 30 years and I do not have the resourses to fight this. To me the courts are now making it impossible to get help in these situations. I know of other mothers experiencing this. Please advise. This is wrong, and not in the best interest of children.

A Professor at XXXXXX XXXXXXXXXX University, who is head of the domestic violence curriculum said that everything that has happened so far is against the Constitution and not illegal. How does one fight corruption. She suggested going to the media.

<p>The Final Decree was signed in the Circuit Court of Fairfax, County, Fairfax, Virginia on Dec. 5, 2008.</p><p> </p><p>The two minor children live in Dakota County, Minnesota. They have taken themselves to CPS, talked to school counselors. I tried to get it addressed in the Courts in that county but the Judge is holding it on his bench in Fairfax. The children have been there since Feb. 07</p>

I would also contact school officials, including counselors to see whether they would be of any help to you in regaining custody of your children.Finally, the MN state bar association can provide you with attorney referrals as well as low cost and pro bono programs that may be available in the Dakota County area. You can also look for family law attorneys willing to fight for the children and request that their father pay the attorneys fees since he is the primary financial provider.If you can find legal assistance, they can register the judgment in MN and you would have a different court and new hope for your childrens' well-being. I hope this is still talking to Tina. My former husband's attorney wrote in the order that I could not contact any officials. He wrote in the Order that I could have no say in their educational, or medical matters. It is evil. And the Judge did not say these words. The Judge did confiscate a supeona that was supposed to be served to Jim in court. I have never experienced such corruption.
Wow. You CAN contact various agencies and the MN state bar for help. I would do everything possible to get help in MN, get the order registered there and this language taken out of any new order as it tramples on your rights as well as the children's rights.I am very sorry you have experienced such corruption.
