I want to legally change my name to something completely different but the laws in my state make it too expensive and too difficult to do. Can I go to another state to change my name?

In what states can your name be changed when you're not a resident?
I have no idea of knowing the laws for all 50 states, however every state that I do know the law for mandates that a person must be a resident to provide a name change. I would venture a guess that every state has a residency requirement. If my answer was helpful, please click ACCEPT so i may be compensated for my time.
