I am receiving Disability payments from Mutual of Omaha. I have been getting them for approx 4 months due to kidney failure and resulting consequences. I applied and was just notified that I will also start receiving Social Security Disability in Oct. '09. My question is - AM I under any requirement to pay Mutual of Omaha back any portion of what they have paid me when I start getting SS? I ask because M of O send me a form with a bunch of others asking for my signature saying that I will pay back all they have provided if SS comes thru. To me this is apples and oranges and not soething they can ask for. Thanks

Actually, the benefits you receive from MofO may be "offset or reduced" by similar benefits payable under social security or similar plans. Accordingly, you may be required to pay back the money you have received (or advanced to you) IF you receive a "retroactive award" of social security benefits.
