Already Tried: what is the process to drop my atty and find a new one and how long does this take?
You can simply tell your attorney his services are no longer required. The attorney must turn over all documents to you, or a successor atorney you hire. You can go through the lawyer referral service at the local bar association, or look on lawyers.com. The mechanism used to force compliance with court orders is a motion for contempt (motion for an order to show cause). A judge has many options once your ex is found in contempt.
