I have been married for 9 months. No children. No purchases. Wife has never worked during the marriage. Home and all belongings are only in my name and all were purchased before the marriage. She has left, abandoning the home and will not tell me where she is or who she is with. Do I have the legal right to change the locks to protect my belongings from theft or damage? I have no problem letting her in if she calls to get her belongings which is only clothing. I have a real fear that she will damage or steal valuable paintings, televisions, furniture, etc.
