I live in the state of missouri and my cousin is going to start leaving her 10 year old and three year old at home alone @ time so she can go to work. What legal advice can I have to prevent this. I feel that the situation is very unsafe.
State/Country relating to Question: Missouri Already Tried: I have tried getting her talk with my mo to watch the kids @ night. I on the fence with giving her a mandate that if she doesn't I will report her DFS!
Thank you for contacting our JA team for guidance.
If your cousin will not listen to you, you should contact the department of child services to investigate. This is neglect and child endangerment.
Please let me know if you need additional information.
