My daughter was brought to emergency.
She has mental problems and is bleeding internally Hospital wanted $5000. to admit her. I am 89 years old and do not have the money. She is 61. Am I responsible for her medical bills? This is in FL

No, you are not responsible for her medical bills as long as you did not sign papers in the hospital to be the Responsible Party. Signing papers in the hospital as a Responsible Party will make you liable for her medical bills if she does not pay them. So, make sure that you do not sign any papers in the hospital designating you as the Responsible Party.

Have you looked into your state medicaid program to see if she may quality for some medical assistance?
