I had an ex-biyfriend keep a harley that I built 13 years ago just recently he returned just the frame and has since took the parts from my harley and built him one and give me my frame back . what can i do?

Already Tried:
well back when it happened i tried to report it stolen but they wouldn't let me because we had lived together I talked to a judge and she told me to sue him but I knew if I did that and won I wouldn't see it agaian anyway so I tried to wait till I could get it anothe way and then back in the spring is when just the frame was recovered. but the motor he has is asignedto my frame.

First I would report it as theft here--he took parts of your bike.Then you can file in Small Claims here for the value.If he gets arrested then you may get restituion out of the criminal case.You need to reprot this matter and get the police in here.They may get you r bike parts back or other restitution.RayAnswers40056.9021882755

they tell me that statute of limitations apply and that i can't do anything as far as restitution u can't get blood from a turnip he got in trouble for a chope shop later but he turned states evidence and got off this was in gwinnett county Ga. about 12 years ago if I do anything and don't get the motorcycle inpounded he will just hide it and I know where it is but the police won't help me
