It is grossly illegal if you are co owner or co tenant. You can call the police and/or take her to court. She has no basis for doing so whatsoever as it would violate your tenancy rights/ownership rights, as the case may be.

You would still be considered a month to month tenant. She cannot just kick you out. She needs to formally evict you through a court case.
