I live in a really old apt building...and am constatly hearing the sounds of the old glass against the wall and have had the upstairs wierdo follow me to all my rooms and not try to be quiete about any of it... I have never felt so invaded in my life....What can I do to catch them and then sue them or something ...this is getting really old...and I can't move...

Saw.. the one woman getting off the elevator just after rthis happened She was so taken back that I was there when the door opened she just stammered and said can I help you ....she lives above me and I was on my floor and she was getting off on my floor... It is really stressing me out ...I am 60 years old dont have too much company so what are they lisening for
You can't do anything without concrete evidence. You say they follow you "in all your rooms" you have the right to place cameras inside your apartment to monitor who comes into your property. You would only be able to place the cameras in locations that are not an invasion of privacy (so not the bathroom or the bedrooms), but in common areas. You might need the consent of the landlord to place cameras outside your door. Again without evidence to identify the individuals you will not be able to sue them or press charges.
