My son has suffered as well as our family because the school my 10 year old attends, did not inform me of several complaints from a neighbor. Not only that, but his right to privace was violated by his teacher saying horrible things about him to the complaining parent. I know as a teacher myself that no teacher is allowed to talk about a child to another parent. Because of this, my son has now been falsely accused of a sex crime and he has been registered with the police. His teacher, without informing me, told this parent that my son snapped her bra. She also said many other negative comments to this parent that were simply not true. What do I do when a neighbor and a school are slandering my son. I feel like they are ruining our lives & we have decided to put our house up for sale because of this. XXXXX XXXXX
State/Country relating to Question: Colorado Already Tried: Talk to the police and state my side of the story. I have contacted the school & they are denying all of this. I have also left a message for the school that my son has cerebral palsey which causes him to have an akward gate as well as a speech impedement has been tormented & made fun of by these girls all year long.
Have you considered filing suit against the school for the actions of the teacher? This is your only legal recourse here.
How would I go about doing that? What type of attorney would I go to?
