if my live in boyfriend pays the rent it is in his name and so is cable and electric am I responsible to him to get him out of jail and pay the bills myself??? he beat me on sunday and i called police so he is now in jail. He called me to tell me to sign papers to drop the charges against him and that I have to stay in his place and handle all the bills until he gets out. Is this true??
State/Country relating to Question: Florida Already Tried: leaving
He is completely wrong. Your are not legally obligated to do anything for him. First, you are not his spouse so there is no legal obligation that you handle his bills. Second, as the victim of domestic violence, you have no legal responsibility to drop the charges, post bail or stay at his place. His attempt to do this is evidence of continued manipulation. So no, this is not true.

he lives in a mobile home park and the rent is in his name. a neighbor will let me move in with her because she been thru abuse herself and is trying to help me. my question is can the park manager refuse to let me stay in park. She the neighbor owns her mobile home. she only pays lot rent. what can i do??
It all depends on the terms of the lease agreement with the neighbor whether you can be asked to leave or not. Such a lease should provide when a manager can ask you to leave. So what you can do would depend on the terms of that lease agreement your neighbor has with the landlord. If there is nothing about the guests she can have, then you can stay since the manager has no say as to whom can live with her.
there is no lease agreement at all
If there is no lease, then management cannot control who your neighbor invites as a guest to their property. So long as you are not committing any criminal acts on the premises, the manager has no control who can live with your neighbor.
