Husband asked that I agree not to ask for anything in his retirement fund ( I have no idea how much this--worked for the same company for over 19 years) and he keeps the house.

You need to be sure about your spousal support. The rule of thumb is that you're entitled to support for 1/2 the length of the marriage. In your case, that would be 5 1/2 years. If the $71k is meant for spousal support, that works out to about $1075/month. If you think this is enough to allow you to maintain your standard of living, you may be fine with it. Also, child support cannot be agreed by the parents. It is set by statute and you have to follow those guidelines.
