I have a problem with my lawyer who I have caught lying to me three different times. He also told me my case would be dropped if I offered restuation which I being his client would not agree to me it looked like admission of guilt. He then raised the stakes by adding this will get you your company business equipment back and the detective that arrested you will assist in making the transaction go smoothly so I agreed. As soon as I paid the money the detective deal was immediately off the table. Now my case is to be heard in 10 days my money is exhausted I cant afford to fire him. I gave him a deadl;ine to call me about this that dead line is past also. What should I do I have been framend ?
State/Country relating to Question: Florida Already Tried: To get evidence to help my trial which he has but claims he doesnt need and to keep the case simple. He has told my family the same thing and said i have all the evidence I need. However, I want back up and certain emails and bank records to me prove my innocents and It has bothered me greatly since day one he will not do as I ask I am his client. Not a child , Iam educated 61 year old business man that faces the possibilty of going to jail the rest of my life.
You need to try and work it out with him and meet with him to get this resolved. You need to put your greivance with him in writing to him and send it certified mail. If that does not work, you can call the Florida Bar association. Your allegations are very serious and need to be investigated. But you need to be sure. It may just poor communication.
