I have a Lawyer who represented me during a claim with Washington State Labor & Industries. I have since reached pension status with L&I. I recently found that the lawyer had withheld the exact pension amount from me, and now refuses to return my calls. This has been a problem over the last few years. My question is, now that I have reached pension, and L&I has informed me that information is being withheld from me, and the lawyer is taking $660.00 per month, can he be dismissed and another lawyer retained. Thank you

Yes, that is basis for making such a change. This is a serious violation of his duty of care and improper representation.
