I am into the USA & married a US resident...I am a Canadian & applying for US residency. Anyways I brought my 17' travel trailer down with me from Canada & now want to sell it. What do I have to do in order to sell my trailer? Is there a special permit or customs fee or taxes that I have to pay to someone??? Help.

There is no special permit or customs fees that you need to worry about. You should gather documents you will need for the sale including title, inspections, insurance policy, and any tax bills. Advertise the house trailer for sale in the local classifieds, on the Internet or list it with an agent. Check with the owner of the lot or trailer park before putting up signs, then place "For Sale" signs in the windows and in the yard where they can be seen from the street if there are no restrictions.Set the price a little higher than what you are willing to settle for, but not much over average market price. Some people won't buy unless they feel they are getting a bargain. Direct prospective buyers to a financing source unless you are willing to carry a contract, which is not advised. If you do take payments, check credit histories and screen applicants very carefully. Hire a lawyer to help you write the contract and set up an escrow to hold the title until all payments have been made.
