I bought a pair of shoes on a website called www.mbtantishoes.com 7/27/2009. After I received them 8/8/2009 I tried them on fit pretty good. Thought I would keep them. I wore them to work on 8/10/2009 as a greeter at Walmart. I was going to wear them the next day to work also but noticed that the rubber coating on the heel of the shoe was peeling off. I contacted the website and found out that it is in China and they want me to send pictures of the shoes and they will decide if they are defective. If they accept them, only then can I return or exchange. I definitely want to return them for a refund. If I had known I was buying these shoes from China I would not have bought them. Nowhere in the website did it say anything about China. I have disputed the charge with my credit card company and would like to know if there is anything else I can do.
State/Country relating to Question: China Already Tried: Email to customer support. Dispute charge on credit card.
Unfortunately, there is nothing else for you do. Also, since the company is in China, chances of you getting the correct pair of shoes are quite slim. You might even get a pair worse than the ones that you have now. So, you should cut your losses and hope that your credit card company resolves the dispute in your favor.
