My future son-in-law and my daughter are on their way to Cali from AZ for her birthday. They were pulled over at a mobile check point outside of Blythe and they took him in and are saying all of his paperwork is forged. He has a social, had a job and has attended three colleges including USC, UofA and ASU. Now they are saying they have to take him somewhere else because their system isn't pulling anything up. What's going on? Is there anyting I can do from here in Mesa?
Already Tried: He is native to Ghana and has been in the states for three years.
Contact the Bar Association and get a lawyer recommendation immediately. Are we sure these were police? I would talk to counsel today and have them find out what is going on. It is 2 AM here. Where do I find a lawyer at this time?
You will have to wait till morning, in the meantime, try to call the local precinct and see if these were real police or not-did anyone get a badge or name?
