i have two suits for custody from two seperate women, is there any conflict of interest or how should i handle each of them using the same lawyer and testifying for each other. it seems like this would be a conflict of interest because each has something to gain if the other wins

Hello -Thanks for contacting JustAnswer. The term "conflict of interest" has nothing to do with the women he is representing, it has to do with the lawyer. The rule about "conflicts" is meant to protect you if the lawyer and you have had past dealings. It would be unethical for the lawyer to represent you, learn all about your life and your finances, and then represent someone against you. In effect, he would have "inside information".In the present case, he is simply representing two women against you. Unless you have had prior dealings with the lawyer, this does not amount to a conflict. If my answer was helpful, please click ACCEPT so i may be compensated for my time.
