I have an employment issue and need to know if I can fight for it. I was hired as a "Leasing Agent" for an apartment complex (and doing my job well). The corporate office was not paying sup-contractors. Our cleaning contractor quit, because he was not being paid. My supervisor told me to clean/turn over apartments and sweep stairs and halls with a vacuum on my back. I did what I was told to do, although I complained, a lot. I complained once too often and was let go. Unemployment is denying my compensation and I need help filing an appeal. I was hired as a "Leasing Agent" not a janitor. Thanks for any advice you may have. ADELE
Optional Information: State/Country of Question: Ohio Already Tried: I have received 2 denials from unemployment after explaining to them that I was not hired to clean and I was wronged into being let go for complaining to clean. My next appeal suggests I have legal advise.
What state is this in?
Dayton, Ohio
