I am sorry for your loss.

 

In most states a spouse may be held responsible for a deceased spouse's medical bills under the Family Necessaries Doctrine.

I was not satisfied with the answer. The lawyer was not from New Jersey and her information was general not specific to New Jersey Law. I contacted a Public defender in New Jersey. He can help me therefore I want my $15.00 back
