I entered into a contract with a dating service that I feel

Customer Question

I entered into a contract with a dating service that I feel has grossly misrepresented itself and the services provided. There is a three day cancellation, but I am a month into the service. The contract seems binding, but I a feel defrauded and just went online to find numerous complaints from across the country. Is there any recourse?

You can file suit to rescind the contract based upon the misrepresentations of the service.

Breach of contract occurs if the service promised you one thing but gave you another. However, if the contract does not indicate the breach but the circumstances around your entering into the contract were misrepresented, that could be fraud and grounds for rescission.

Thanks. I'll look into attorney costs to see if it's worthwhile.
