Is there a statute of limitations on Social Security fraud. It's been 21 years since my friend made a mistake.
<p>Hello.</p><p> </p><p>The statute of limitations should be five years. While the government could try to argue that the five years doesn't begin until the point of discovery of the fraud, it is highly unlikely that the government would pursue a case that is that old at this point.</p>
