When you buy property that is located within a condo association you are obligated to pay the maintenance fees as stipulated in the bylaws of the association. If you failed to pay those fees, then the association has the right to place a lien against the property. This no one's fault but your own for failing to pay. There is no one for you to sue and you can not stop the lien, you can only pay the fees you owe to have it removed.
