If Paid In Full is written on the memo line of a check ...

Resolved Question:

If Paid In Full is written on the memo line of a check and the check is cashed, does that mean the party cashing the check has accepted the paid in full terms?

Yes, if the amount due was in dispute, and if the person giving the check acted in good faith in giving the check as full satisfaction of the amount due. On the other hand, if you both agree on the amount that was due, and a check was given for a lesser amount then "paid in full" has no affect.
