What is the statute of limitation on a civil suit for someone that owes you money on various bills? (such as medical bills and bills that one person was supposed to pay in a divorce but the other person in the divorce had to pay to keep from going to jail)

Since it is a court order from the Divorce it is considered a written debt and can be collected for 6 years from the date the Divorce Court signed off on her oweing the debt.

Good luck. If you have any other related questions please let me know. If you found this answer helpful please accept so I can continue to help others like you in the future. Thank you.
