My pygmy goat is really bloated. Stopped eating and not

Customer Question

Hi. My pygmy goat is really bloated. Stopped eating and not getting up much. What can I do for her?
JA: I'm sorry to hear that. Could be a lot of things that cause lethargy. The Veterinarian will know how to help the goat. What is the goat's name and age?
Customer: It is bloat. Bee is her name and she is close to 8-10 yo.
JA: What is the bee's name?
Customer: It is a pygmy goat by the name of Bee.
JA: Is there anything else the Veterinarian should be aware of about of?
Customer: no

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.

Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner, but can you tell me:

How long has she had these signs?

How is Bee just now?

Are her inner eyelids pink or pale/white?

If you press on her belly, any tensing, tenderness, discomfort, or pain?

Can she pass stool?

What have you tried thus far?
