Good Morning and welcome! I am Dr. Loretta, a licensed veterinarian and I am happy to answer your question.

This is common in goats that ingest too many carbohydrates and the treatment is to give mineral oil at 1 cup per 50 pounds of Juliets weight every 4 hrs. This will neutralize the gas producing bacteria that is causing the bloat. It would be good to use a stomach tube to attempt to release this gas but your vet would have to do this to be safe for Juliet. Try the mineral oil or other oils first to see if that will help.

This LINK can explain in more detail.

Does that make sense to you?

Please let me know if you have ANY other questions. My goal is to give you 100% satisfaction and if you are not yet satisfied, please REPLY so I can clarify for you.
