Customer Question

hi...are you a real person?
JA: I'm an assistant to the Veterinarian. I work with them to help customers like you.
Customer: you know about goats?
JA: I'll do all I can to help. What seems to be the problem with the goat?
Customer: had diarrhea for a few days, now is hypothermic
JA: Where does the goat seem to hurt?
Customer: no where
JA: Can you see anything that looks wrong or different?
Customer: nope, just sluggish
JA: OK. Nothing visually obvious. Could be a lot of things that cause lethargy. The Veterinarian will know how to help the goat. What is the goat's name and age?
Customer: theo....3-4 years old
JA: How old is theo?
Customer: 3-4 years
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Veterinarian should know about theo?
Customer: nope, just diarrhea, then dehydration, now hypothermia

Hello & welcome, I am Dr. B, a licensed veterinarian and I would like to help you with today. I do apologize that your question was not answered before. Different experts come online at various times; I just came online, read about your wee one’s situation, and wanted to help.

Again I do apologize that my colleagues could not aid you sooner, but can you tell me:

How long has Theo had these signs?

What does the scours look like? Any blood?

Are his gums pink or pale/white? Moist or sticky?

What treatments are you using just now? Any testing?
