I live in Mississippi and have some Red Tip Fatima shrubs in my pasture,, are they poisonous to cattle? I have farmers tell me they are dangerous for horses but not cattle?

Hello. I am Dr A, and would love to help.Red Tip photinia contains a toxin that when metabolized is similar to cyanide. Cattle are actually more sensitive to this than Horses, but the degree of toxin varies from variety to variety.
