Hi We have suffolk X Merino and on slaughtering 2 lambs this season have found the Longs to be white to pale instead of the normal pinky/brown colour. The first on we done did have the most affected longs , no smell to the meat, did not act sick or anything suss. But the second one had fluid +- 2lts in the cavity, bloted from all the fluid, no smell either, but did act sick. I believe this one was about to drown from all that fluid. bowels did still work. Both were from last years season. Would it be safe to cook the meat for the dogs?We have 9 other sufflolk sheep and with lambing season on our door step ??? All vaccinations and drenching is done by a shearer that know what he is doing. Thank you Rina XXX@XXXXXX.XXX
