If you give the correct dosage, you will need only one dose of ivomec.
About a week after deworming have a fecal examination performed on a fresh stool sample. If no worm eggs are present, you don't need a second dose of ivomec.
Should I be doing anything else?
If worms are not the problem, it would probably be best to have your lamb examined by a veterinarian to determine what is causing the swelling.
