We have a Jersey cow with bulging eyes, about the size of an orange. She is quite aggitated but still eating
Type of Animal: Jersey cowGender: femaleAge: 3 years
There are a couple of things this could be. My primary concern would be lymphoma which somtimes occurs behind the eyes. This is a type of cancer that is not uncommon in cows. Glaucoma can also be seen in cows but is probably more uncommon. Both of these things would require a veterinarian to diagnose. If the eye itself is normal but just bulging then something behind the eye like a tumor would be the most likely diagnosis. Hope that helps.
