Hi. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist.
Can you tell me which version of Windows you are using on the laptop?
and the Express Service Code please.
Thank you. Can you tell me the version of Windows?
If you're not sure, on your keyboard, hold down the Windows logo key (just to the left of the spacebar)
and press R.
The Run box will open. In the text area type: winver and click OK.
A window will open telling you the Windows version.
Thank you. Please perform these steps:
Click the start menu button and open Settings (the gear icon)
On the Settings page click Network & Internet
From the vertical menu on the left side of the page select Status
At the bottom of the page clickNetwork Reset>>Reset Now
The process takes about 5 minutes and requires a restart (you'll get a notification at the 2-minute-to-restart mark)
Once the process has finished try connecting again.
Let me know the result please.
Thanks. Also look at the attachment below and check to make sure the wireless switch is turned on.
If you see any red it means the wi-fi is off.
Is the wi-fi on now?
Can you connect the laptop to your router with a network cable and get an internet connection?
So the wi-fi is on, but now you need your wireless password?
If you got your router from them there may be a label on it with a wi-fi
Did your wireless router come from Cable One?
I'm not sure I understood your last response.
