I have an ACER R14, Removed back cover, replaced HD with SSD

I have an ACER R14, Removed back cover, replaced HD with SSD and new RAM, unit will not power on. I put back the original HD and RAM, laptop will still not power up...
JA: Just to clarify, what's the exact model of your Acer? And what operating system are you running?
