hi i have a toshiba satellite l850 i picked it up secondhand with a broken screen i replaced the screen and now it is asking for a bios password

locate the coin sized battery on the motherboard and remove it wait for 10 mins and power on the laptop without the battery.

Get into the bios and reset the bios to default setting and remove the password ***** the security section. When it asks you to enter password ***** hit enter without entering any characters.
