My laptop has come up wit the message "Your PC needs

my laptop has come up wit the message "Your PC needs repair". I tried everything I can so far including the ADVANCED options and the Command Prompt. I then used several possible fixes from yiutube. Some were hopeful but none have worked. I do not have my poriginal disk. There appears to be a boot error or file missing. I tried a boot repair following instructions to the letter but nothing so far has worked

I am not sure what thT IS BUT I CAN GET TOTHE SCREEN WHERE IT OFFERS (OOPS) three options ..... 1. Continue 2. Troubleshoot and 3 Turn off PC.The troubleshoot optiontakes me to a RESET option and Advanced option. The Advanced Options takes mt to a screen and oofers System Restor, System Image Recovery, Start up Repair, UEFI Firmware Settings, Start Up Settings and Command Prompt

After selecting "Startup Repair" , the screen does not show "Preparing Automatic Repair"? ...and then "Diagnosing your PC"?

I do get to where it asks for my name and a password ***** Ten it goes to Diagnosing PC then to Attempting Repairs. It then syas couldn't repair your PC
